Undergraduate Student Katelyn Landry Publishes Online Exhibit

Katelyn Landry

Katelyn Landry is an Anthropology Minor and Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow. Katelyn spent her summer in Galveston as part of the 2021 Edward L. Protz internship program offered by the Galveston Historical Foundation with financial support from the Mary Moody Northen Endowment. She recently published an online exhibit presenting the results of her research, called Facing the Gulf: Learning Stories of Slavery in Galveston, 1816-1865. Katelyn's faculty mentor on the Mellon Mays Fellowship is Molly Morgan.
