Sydney Coldren, a 2024 graduate in sociocultural anthropology, recently published her article “Constructing Malnutrition: Dams, Technopolitics, and Food Aid in Cochabamba Bolivia” in the Almagest journal. The Almagest is a peer-reviewed undergraduate journal managed by the University of Toronto's Institute for the History & Philosophy of Science & Technology. Sydney Coldren’s article comprises one chapter of her award-winning honor’s thesis, and examines the historical flows of capital, calories, and care to an Indigenous community in central Bolivia.
